A native Californian military veteran in the HVAC industry, Alan Cuellar brings 30 years of experience to his role as owner and president at Blue Castle Systems, which he founded in 2003. After earning a Technical of Excellence award from the United States Air Force in 1981, Cuellar spent 11 years serving and leading in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration shop for four years than went on to serve and lead the remaining time in the HVAC Control Specialist section of the Civil Engineering Squadron at Grand Forks Air Base. Cuellar's years of field experience of servicing and installing energy monitoring and control equipment complement his design and leadership capabilities. After being honorably discharged from the military and making his home in East Grand Forks, Cuellar began his civilian life working for Grand Forks Heating, a heating and cooling company as a service technician. In his military career his focus was with commercial and industrial buildings, but now his focus became involved with the residential side. As a lead technician at Grand Forks Heating, Cuellar has gain valuable experience and knowledgeable skills in Total home comfort systems.
