I have had the privilege of working with Brian Pelzel, most recently through his company Blue Plate Digital, for over 25 years. During that time Brian has heroically served as our Media Production Genie-in-a-Bottle. He has worn more “hats” than can be counted, filling every job that was needed to get the job done from grip to producer. He has perilously hung out of the open door of a helicopter while shooting video over the Gorge Amphitheater, and has soothed rock star egos at music video productions.

Over the years, we have grown as a business and our needs have changed and you were there with great ideas and enthusiasm. Your company is not only innovative, but extremely easy to work with. Your crews are always pleasant and accommodating to work with on the day of shooting. We love the fact that if we need any commercial produced, you have them readily available online! That makes it really easy for us to manage them for additional marketing purposes! When we were on an extreme budget you always knew what to do to still make it awesome and impactful.

History At the helm is Brian Pelzel , a northwest native and Seattle production veteran with over 25 years of producer/director experience at his disposal. Prior to Blue Plate Digital, Pelzel spent several years as General Manager of Piranha Productions; where he was responsible for transforming the company into one of the West Coast's most distinguished production facilities. Through the mid 80's and 90's Pelzel spent 10 years as production manager at KTZZ/KTWB TV.
