Blue Star Sportswear was founded in 1984 by Dave Bartels. Dave is a former collegiate runner (4:11 miler), and high school coach (Case H.S., Racine, WI). He found the track warm-ups of the day to be limited in color selection, style & options. What worked in Wisconsin may not be desirable in Texas. So Blue Star pioneered track warm-ups, both lined & unlined, in several styles with various options. They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Blue Star has been imitated, but never duplicated. Besides selection & style, one of the most overlooked aspects of our business is service. Coaches can still order any custom suit we've ever made because we never discontinue styles. We guarantee our sewing, fabric, and printing. It's no accident that our cut table is less than 50 feet from the boss's desk...he inspects fabric several times a day, to help insure you get only first-rate fabric in your garment...
