Founded in 2001 to meet a growing need for full-service technology partners, BlueModus knows that strong partnerships are based on trust, service, and competence. Through the course of extensive information technology (IT) careers, BlueModus founders Matt Mathias and Dave Conder witnessed countless IT companies and IT professionals focused solely on using the "latest and greatest" technology with no regard for how it met the goals of a business. In addition, IT was too segmented, and most IT firms were unable to see the "big picture." BlueModus was conceived to partner with companies to allow them to meet their business goals by leveraging the right technology at the right time, showing them that big picture when it came to their IT infrastructure, and freeing them to focus on their core business rather than technology. BlueModus was initially founded in Florida as CM Technologies. The privately held corporation moved to Denver, Colorado, in late 2002, setting the stage for immediate success. Early the following year, BlueModus was engaged to oversee the entire Internet-based IT work for distilled beverage giant Bacardi Global Brands. Since then, BlueModus' client list has been burgeoning, boosting the company's growth and expansion. In 2008, BlueModus hired veteran IT executive David Baumgarten as its president, signaling the start of a new era.
