The principal in the firm, David L. Blunt, is a charter member of the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys as well as its predecessor organization, The Campaign For Safe Railroads. Blunt & Associates, Ltd. serves as Designated Counsel for the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Division (BMWED) since 1991 and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) since 1986.
