"I arrived home on Wednesday afternoon, and there were two very large boxes sitting on my doorstep. It was the packaging for my new Boaphile Plastics tanks for my python. I must say, after opening them up and removing the 4,000 pounds of bubble wrap and masking tape ;), I was quite impressed with the quality of your product. I highly doubt there is a comparable product to yours on the market. The materials are both lightweight and strong, and the fit and finish is superb. They were of even better quality than I anticipated. I must admit I was a little leery about ordering another cage from the internet. The last product I purchased was from ----- -- ------. The product was horrible, and the service was even worse. Your enthusiasm for your product is what drew me to it. You have always been quick to answer any questions and requests, and I would highly recommend your product and your company to anyone interested. After I get it all set up, I will get some pictures of it to send to you. Perhaps they will be good enough shots to include on your website.

The door is made of top quality 1/4" thick Acrylic. There is no frame. The Acrylic is the door complete! The door is not a "half access" sliding glass door(s) that will bind due to weight from other cages. No more binding doors! The cages are designed to correct the significant problem of door pinch! The door opens completely out of your way and facilitates easy cleaning inside and out. A fully opened door makes it easier to gain access to the entire cage vs. only part of the cage at a time. As many of you know, plex or Acrylic warps or bows after exposure to heat and or humidity differential on opposite sides. My design has worked with the Acrylic to avoid these difficulties and to guarantee the unhindered integrity of the door operation. Acrylic vs. glass is "softer" as well. The door has some give to it reducing the chance of your animal harming himself striking at the door. In addition to the Acrylic door a rubber bumper has been used between the door latch and the Acrylic itself resulting in additional "bounce" to the door. The latches are top of the line "barrel bolt" style latches that bolt down rather than a twisting catch that can easily be nudged open.

Your room temperature is of course highly influential on your ability to heat your cage(s) and or rack(s). Optimal room temperatures should be around 74-78 degrees. If your temps are below these levels and you are heating a single unit you may have to do some additional insulating to maintain the temperatures you need. We can help you do what is necessary to heat your cage and or rack. Multiple cages or racks resting against each other help each other maintain warm enough temperatures. We have installed heating that is adequate to heat cages and racks provided the advice detailed above is followed. We used the lowest wattage heaters necessary to provide adequate heat. This is to provide you the safest possible housing for your reptiles and amphibians without endangering your or your charges. We would rather encourage or help you do the extra little things that must be done to reach the temps that you need without endangering anyone.
