The standard glass used by B & J is ¼ Laminated Safety Glass. This glass can withstand 400 foot pounds of kinetic energy without breaking. If the glass does break, it stays intact, just as a car windshield does on impact. Other manufacturers use 1/8 Tempered Glass to build their windows. When this glass breaks, it shatters into a million pieces. Our heavy, aluminum frames are unique in design.
