We at BOB HILD ENTERPRISES, LLC have been manufacturing tarps since 1998 and we are the only tarping manufacturer that has the largest number, greatest variety of materials in the tarping industry. Afterall, as textile brokers, we have access to a full spectrum of Industrial Textiles. Which gives us a distinct advantage over our competition. Our competition buys only what is typically available or what is understood to be tarpaulin material. True, the vinyl mesh and solid vinyl materials, especially the solid vinyl since it was specifically designed for keeping asphalt hot and flat bed loads dry, are good materials, and yes, we have those same materials as well, but there is so much more available to tarpaulin manufacturers. The vinyl mesh, however, was not manufactured to be used for truck tarps, but was originally designed to be used for a less demanding purpose. Notice that a lot of the vinyl meshes are available in a multi-color pattern. We have a variety of materials beyond just the vinyl mesh and solid vinyls. If you want something that's really tough than you might want to look at some conveyor belt material style #3028 which has a great record (920 Ib. tensile strength) for durability since it is used to haul up rocks and gravel from mines which is far more demanding than what a truck does to it.
