October 2, 2008 Shaevel serves as Judge and Keynote Speaker at Canisius College's Empire Creativity Competition Canisius College's CEO ( Canisius Entrepreneur's Organization , Canisius College's local chapter of the National Collegiate Entrepreneur's Organization ) hosted this year's Empire Creativity Competition. More than twelve teams competed in the annual "Elevator Pitch" competition. Each team had two minutes to pitch a business concept to the judges, which then was evaluated by the judges. This year's judges included Bobalew Ventures' CEO Andrew Shaevel, Paul Ciminelli (President & CEO, Ciminelli Development Company, Incorporated ), and Paul Kolkmeyer (CEO, Priam Enterprises ). All competitors received both structured and practical feedback from the judges and the top three finalists received significant cash prizes. The winner was provided a full sponsorship to the , where Canisius College finished in the top 10 last year. After the competition, the participants, judges and guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner, after which Andy addressed the attendees.
