Description
A piece of Pedro Boregaard jewelry is a unique work of art. Every finish, every combination of gemstones and precious metals brings his unique artistic vision to life. His exceptional body of work “refuses to be typecast,” according to the New York Times. It is jewelry that is perimeter-less. Without boundaries. Like no other jewelry in the world. Trained in Munich at Hemmerle, Pedro Boregaard plied his trade in London before coming to the United States in 1974. He was immediately hired by Tiffany & Company and rose to head a designer workshop of 40. Paloma Picasso, Elsa Peretti and Angela Cummings all gratefully acknowledge his creative contributions to their work. In 1983, Boregaard started his own design studio. The winner of nearly every international jewelry design competition, today his work is sold at selected retail locations throughout the United States. This year, as he readies to celebrate his 25th year in business, a Pedro Boregaard retail store will open in Narrowsburg, New York, the charming town on the Delaware River in New York’s Sullivan County that Boregaard has called home since 2002.
