Boston Development Group is an affiliated family of privately held companies based in Massachusetts. Beginning in 1956, as a builder of single family homes, the companies now specialize in the acquisition, development and management of residential, office and retail properties, hotels and adult retirement communities. Boston Development Group has a full range of expertise including land acquisitions, design, construction, rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of buildings. Additionally, we market, lease and manage many properties. Our wholly-owned subsidiary, First General Realty Corporation, directs the management of all Boston Development Group properties. Residential, commercial and retail projects have benefited from our direct, responsible management approach. Leasing, maintenance, tenant relations and financial controls are all handled directly by our experienced staff.
