Description

The Boston Haitian Reporter, founded in May 2001, is New England's leading source for news about the region's growing Haitian-American communities. We are a monthly newspaper distributed free at more than 300 locations in and around Greater Boston. The Reporter can also be downloaded and read- free of charge- online. The Reporter is part of a family-run newspaper company, Boston Neighborhood News, Inc., which has been telling the stories of Boston's neighborhood people for more than 25 years.

The Boston Haitian Reporter is primarily an English language tabloid, with an editorial emphasis on the Haitian-American experience in Greater Boston and the United States. We employ professional journalists and Boston Haitian professionals to document the ongoing exploration of the Haitian American experience. Among the many talented journalists and writers who have contributed articles to the Reporter in the last year are: award-winning novelist and essayist Edwidge Danticat and Dr. Paul Farmer, director of Harvard University's Partners in Health program.
