The Bottle Shop wine store in Spring Lake, NJ is owned by the Murray family, who have been wine merchants in Monmouth County since 1972. Thomas and Marie Murray converted a small liquor store on the Jersey Shore into a vintage wine, cheese and gourmet food shop; an endeavor reported in the New York Times in the summer of 1974. Today, their children are continuing the tradition by offering superior service and wine knowledge with a cellar containing the most collectible wines in the world, including small production sought-after wines, as well as an extensive floor selection of everyday drinking wines.
