The Boxhorn Division of Huber Construction, Inc. is an interior contractor servicing the cities of Buffalo and Niagara Falls and the surrounding region. We are a union company that specializes in gypsum systems, acoustical ceiling work, finish carpentry work, fireproofing and Exterior Insulation & Finish Systems (EIFS). We pride ourselves on serving our customer with the highest quality of workmanship in the market at a competitive price. The company's namesake, Joseph Boxhorn, founded Boxhorn Plastering Company in 1962. The company quickly grew, establishing itself on the quality of the workmanship demonstrated by the lathers and plasterers that were employed. Seeing some of this work today, such as at the Portico at the Main Place Mall or some of the many area churches, illustrates the detail and craftsmanship that was displayed at the time. Soon drywall was all but replacing plaster as the cost-effective material of choice and Boxhorn Plastering expanded into metal stud wall systems, drywall and acoustic ceilings. The flexibility of the company was apparent to many of it's customers as they pushed in the direction to perform all finish work, including exterior wall construction, Exterior Insulation & Finish Systems, door and hardware installation along with finish carpentry.
