The elegant Lucerne is Buick's flagship sedan, boasting a plush interior and smooth road manners. It provides comfortable seating for up to six passengers, along with premium amenities and comprehensive safety equipment. The front-wheel drive Lucerne is offered in eight trim levels: CX, CX-2, CXL, CXL Special Edition, CXL-3, CXL-4, CXL-5 and Super. The CX and CXL variants are equipped with a 227-hp 3.9-liter V6 engine, while the Super gets a more powerful 292-hp 4.6-liter Northstar V8; both engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. All CX and CXL trim levels are outfitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and satellite radio, while additional trim-dependent standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front seats, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a heated steering wheel. The Super is further equipped with an adaptive sport-tuned suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, 18-inch alloy wheels and a 6-disc CD changer, as well as exclusive interior trim elements. Safety features found on every Lucerne include traction control, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, front side-impact airbags, overhead curtain airbags for front and rear passengers, a tire pressure monitoring system and OnStar service.
