2009 The Monday Social Ride has started up again for the 2009 season. This is the ultimate beginner-friendly ride. We do 15-20 miles at the pace of the slowest rider; the purpose is to ride and chat. Meet at 6:00 pm on the bridge on Technology Loop in TAMUs Research Park. More info... CANCELLED April 7/8 Road 1 Safety Course. $20 preregistration fee and registration form must be sent to Jean Marie by April 1. Total cost $55/ $15 discount to BVC/other cycling club members. Ride leaders can get their course paid for by BVC, other scholarships may be offered on a case-by-case basis; contact the instructor for more information. There will be about 3-4 hours of classroom work on Friday followed by 4-5 hours of mostly on the bicycle work on Saturday. Course descriptions (more than just Road 1). March 18/19 Bike Lagrange Weekend Rides start at 9 am and are free -- join our friends with Austin Cycling Association, San Antonio Wheelmen, and the Houston Bicycle club.
