Addiction professionals certified by Breining Institute - located in over 40 US States and 14 countries - are required to adhere to professional and ethical standards, which are articulated within their respective Codes of Ethics. All of the Codes of Ethics are included within the Renewal Packet, and must be reaffirmed by each certified professional every time that the credentials are renewed (every two years). The respective Codes of Ethics are located within the Renewal Packet at the following sections: Section 4, page 3: Code of Ethics for Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS), RAS Intern (RASi), RAS Level II (RAS II), Masters Level - RAS (M-RAS), Certified Women's Issues Specialist (CWIS) and Certified Co-occurring Disorders Specialist (CCDS) holders. - Section 5, page 4: Code of Ethics for Clinical Supervisor Credential (CSC) holders. - Section 6, page 5: Code of Ethics for Master Counselor in Addictions (MCA) holders. - Section 7, page 6: Uniform Code of Conduct for all registered and certified counselors providing counseling services in California.
