Bren-Tronics is a Veteran Owned Small Business (Cage Code 51828), started in 1973 by Leo A. Brenna, Owner and Chairman of Bren-Tronics. With over 40 years of portable/stationary power and services delivered to the Military and Industrial Markets, we provide our customers safe, reliable, quality designed products. Our current focus to our Military customers is to decrease system weight while increasing warfighter capabilities.

For over 40 years Bren-Tronics batteries have kept our troops going...and going...and going. We cut our teeth on primary, one-time-use batteries, and for those times when only non-rechargeables will do for expendable or "ready now" applications, we have your solution. Like all of our batteries, they are designed, tested, and manufactured to meet or exceed DOD specs and AS9100B standards. An extended shelf-life of up to five years gives your portable equipment instant-on dependability.

Our batteries are designed, built, tested, manufactured, and shipped out of our headquarters in Commack, NY. Since we control every step in the design and assembly process, and check each and every system and component before shipping to our customers, you can be sure that no detail is spared in making your delivered products the very best possible.

DoD's trusted supplier of rechargeable batteries for over 18 years we have delivered over a million rechargeable batteries many of which are still working for the warfighter well past their 5 year predicted life span. Standards Bren-Tronics have set for DOD are what industry follows today. Our current line of rechargeables is more robust than the standards call for. The BB-2590 has proven 750+ charge/discharge cycle capability gives you power where you need it, when you need it.

Bren-tronics has acquired the intellectual property and assets of companies with exceptional reputations in the Energy Independence Industry like Energizer, Lithium Ion Facility, Gainesville, FL, UltraCell Corp., Livermore, CA, and International Battery, Inc., Allentown, PA. Today, Bren-Tronics Energy Systems LLC designs and manufactures lithium technology cells including advanced rechargeable and primary lithium based cells.
