Description

If you or your company has a tax obligation that needs offsetting through the use of tax credits, please contact us to discuss whether we may have a project that meets your needs. Given the number of projects that we are working and their diverse types, sizes, and locations, we believe that we can identify an investment opportunity that meets your needs. We have an extensive history of working with many different types of tax credit investors and therefore, can structure a transaction so that it meets the needs of both the investor and the project sponsor.

If you own or know of a historic building that you believe would be suitable for rehabilitation, Brian Wishneff & Associates would be interested in discussing potential development opportunities. We are seeking opportunities to develop or co-develop historic buildings while taking advantage of the various financial incentives that may be available to help fund a given project including applicable tax credits. BW&A has years of experience in determining suitable reuses for historic buildings and can quickly determine the best and highest use for the building you have identified.

We have a history of working with both public and private entities on projects ranging from theaters to museums, hotels to office buildings, schools to retail establishments. Therefore, we understand the specific interests of a given project sponsor. Because each project is unique, we offer a wide range of consulting services and the flexibility to only provide you the services you need. Our role may vary from simply tax credit consulting all the way to co-developer, depending on the given needs of a project. We also have the ability to take on challenging development projects.

Site Selection: If your business is looking to relocate or expand, BW&A can help you find the best new location to meet your needs. We will evaluate the needs and “wish list” of your organization and provide a comprehensive analysis of all potential locations. Once the “wish list” is developed, our firm will solicit interest from relevant entities that may have sites that meet our clients needs. BW&A will help clients evaluate each prospective site and negotiate financing incentives that may be available to attract new businesses to these localities.

Ms. Duncan joined BW&A in 1999 and attended Virginia Tech and Virginia Western Community College.
