Description
Headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts, The Bridge has 46 programs located throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts. Founded in 1973, The Bridge now serves over 1,000 individuals in residential and community settings.
The members of the Administrative Team will provide leadership and function interdependently as effective problem solvers and positive role models in support of the agency mission of providing exemplary services for diverse clientele.
Master Level internships are designed to provide students with a more intensive experience in milieu treatment, individual therapy, family and group therapy, clinical consultation, treatment planning, clinical documentation, individual and group clinical supervision, crisis intervention, case management, and collaboration with the greater mental health provider system. A minimum of 12 hours/week for 9 months is expected for Master Level placements.
The Bridge also provides special education for youth ages 8 to 13 at the G. Stanley Hall School , training for human service and clinical professionals through The Bridge Training Institute , psychological first aid for traumatic events through The Bridge Trauma Response Service , and support for LGBTQ youth through the Safe Homes program . Later in 2014, The Bridge will begin providing specialized services for veterans and others experiencing trauma through The Bridge Counseling Center .
