Jon Dahlstrum began his career in financial services in 1983. At Brighton Advisory Group he assists individuals with retirement planning and is responsible for researching and preparing all client presentations as well as handling the company’s IT systems. He has worked with Barry Boscoe for over 15 years.

7. A client referred by his stockbroker had income in excess of $600,000 per year. He wanted to find a way to provide some tax deductions in the amount of $220,000. In addition, he wanted to obtain a source of liquidity to pay $4,000,000 of estate taxes on a deductible basis. Brighton Advisory Group created a plan in which he was able to deduct $200,000 each year. This allowed the client to provide the liquidity necessary to pay his estate taxes using tax-deductible dollars.
