Brilliant Image Productions has many years of experience in making documentaries; some of our earliest projects were documentaries! Our seasoned former television producers have plenty of know-how in storytelling, and they can help you tell yours. We will work with you closely every step of the wayófrom idea, to scripting, to production, to post productionóand work within your budget without compromising quality.

Founded in Kenya in 2001, Brilliant Image Productions was formed to provide an indigenous vehicle to support the video and film industry in East Africa and the rest of the world. More than a decade later, we are proud to continue spreading the word about the solution-oriented projects of nonprofit organizations via the camera lens.

Brilliant Image Productions takes each project personally because we understand what you need in today's media. We specialize in documentaries, corporate videos, infomercials, training videos and online video.

Do some research, ask for referrals and when you have narrowed down your search, interview the companies on your short list. Depending on your subject matter, consider choosing a production company with experience in creating the kind of production you want, or at least one that understands your vision and what you want to achieve. If they haven't done a project quite like yours before, it may be that they haven't had the opportunity to do it, not that they don't know how, and understanding your vision may be an indication of how well you and the company will work together as a team. Ask them what kind of equipment they have, and ask to see a portfolio of videos they have done in the past, even videos that are not related to what you want done. When you evaluate the company's portfolio, pay particular attention to lighting, frame composition, camera movement, sound quality, etc. If you like what you see, ask the company for a free estimate. Remember, in order to give you a realistic estimate, they will have to get as much specific information from you as possible about what you want to do.
