During the late 1950's, Arden McLean became a new car dealer for MG s, Austin Healey s and Triumph s and then a TVR dealer during the 1970 s. Today Arden s son Mark continues the tradition with the family owned McLean Enterprises, specializing in sales and service for fine British Sports cars. In the same location since 1969, we service customers from as far away as Virginia to Canada and out into the eastern Midwest. For sales, we average about 70 cars per year, cars ranging from projects, solid drivers and #1 and #2 condition restorations. McLean Enterprises is the largest center specializing in sales and service of pre-owned British automobiles in the New England area. Brit Bits was created in 1998 as a division of McLean Enterprises to expand the business into the retail sales of new, used and rebuilt parts, accessories dedicated to British sports cars and gifts, clothing and souvenirs with a British theme. Mark and Arden, with over 70 years of combined experience, handle the sales and service. Sam Smith has been associated with the McLean family for many years and handles the parts, accessories and gifts. In service, we perform all types of maintenance from a basic oil change to full engine, transmission and suspension rebuilds. Although we do undertake one or two restorations per year, we do not do bodywork or painting.
