His technical background consists of over 15 years of UNIX system administration experience with the majority of the years working with SunOS/Solaris. Rick's experience includes being a Senior Member of the Professional Technical Staff at Princeton University supporting the Solaris environment on campus, and being a Sun system administrator for one of the leading Artificial Intelligence labs in the country, located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He has also been a Sun Certified Trainer and is a CompTIA CTT+ CertifiedTrainer.
Brode Training and Consulting was founded in 2000 by Rick Brode. He is the author of all the courseware and has been teaching EMC Legato NetWorker and UNIX/Linux courses since 1997. He worked for EMC/Legato from 2003-2006, during which time he wrote EMC's NetWorker 7.3 course.

The coursebook contains lots of information (not just bulleted slides) and lots of lab exercises, as well as a Table of Contents and Alphabetic Index. The cost is $99.
