Description
Brooks Tree Farm is a family held and operated organization. Dave and Kathy LeCompte became involved in the nursery industry in the late 1960's, and struck out on their own in the spring of 1980 on a 30 acre farm in Brooks, Oregon. Having improved the Brooks farm to its fullest potential, a farm on the west bank of the Willamette river was purchased in 1990. Although the soil there is sandy and beautiful for seedlings, it is on a flood plain so a search for suitable ground above the Willamette began. This culminated with the purchase of a farm in the Silverton Hills in 1998.
