The firm manages commingled and separate account real estate funds on behalf of institutional and private investors. Since its inception, Buchanan has invested and structured approximately $17 billion of capital in a broad range of equity and debt real estate investments throughout the United States. In 2007, Buchanan Street Partners formed Buchanan Children’s Charities, a public non-profit organization, to measurably improve the quality of life and educational opportunities for children. The firm’s commitment extends to fostering better educational systems, teaching fiscal responsibility, funding research and treatment for autism, supporting the arts and culture, improving the environment and encouraging employee volunteerism.

Buchanan Street Partners was founded in 1999 by four entrepreneurs in pursuit of a vision that included principal investing, investment management, and financial advisory services under one platform. The firm proceeded to successfully build its investment track record and evolved into what it is today a nationally recognized real estate investment management firm.
