Budd Oil was founded in the 1950's by DeWitt Budd and was located on Valentine Street in Hackettstown. Mr. Budd sold his growing company to Spartan Oil in 1986 and moved to the Route 46 H'town office. The company continued to grow with the merger of two other local companies, Mayberry Fuel and Kapper & Son and moved to it's present location at 276 Main St Hackettstown .
