Description

Cristy is a talented artist, writer and horsewoman who has been a part of the Buffalo Woman Ranch staff and has co-facilitated many Equine Experiential Learning sessions. Deeply sensitive upon her initial arrival at the ranch, the horses and the work have taught her to embrace her gifts and share her insights with others. With over 18 years experience working with horses, she also offers education of beginner to advanced horse care, riding and equine behavior.

Charlie walked a path as Medicine Woman and Pipe Carrier for over 20 years. She studied with Native American, Celtic and Eastern medicine teachers. Her gift was facilitating empowering experiences to enhance physical, emotional and spiritual growth in walking one’s life journey. Her lifework was leadership, women’s self-healing, self-empowerment, way of council, transformative journeys/adventures, story telling and ceremony.

Crissi has been drawn to horses since she was two years old, and rode a Shetland pony. She began riding lessons at eleven and by the time she was twenty, she was a certified Camp Horsemanship Instructor. Crissy has worked as a trail guide and horse wrangler for a ranch in southeastern Arizona, is an accomplished clinician, and has been an instructor and horse trainer for over 20 years.

The Buffalo Woman Ranch is dedicated to providing a sacred space of community where horses and humans are supported in discovering and living their true nature. Located in Colorado, the ranch is nestled between the Blue Mountains in Utah and the Four Corners Area . It is a 50 acre sanctuary whose purpose is to facilitate renewal at a deep level for all who enter.
