Description

The seeds of our company were sown 12 years ago when an innovative science teacher first thought of how he could make his lessons come alive for his students. Focusing on giving the students the power to make their own observations and collect their own data in the great natural classroom, he immediately saw a difference in what his students retained and a great rise in their enthusiasm for learning. Build-A-Field Trip was born. Although much has changed over the years- we now travel only by approved motor coach and all of our programs conform to specific educational standards- our philosophy is still the same. If students are able to discover for themselves, to see and feel and hear what is around them, they will remember and learn. We work with teachers toward a common goal- better educating our children.
