Build A Pen, LLC is owned by Chad Micheal Lawson. It is based in Gilbert, AZ. Chad Micheal Lawson is a professional web developer and used to own and operate Profundity, LLC. Profundity was also based in the Phoenix area and operated successfully for over 2 years. This is his pet project. Build A Pen is a direct result of 2 main concepts or ideas that Chad developed: - There are too many companies that sell promotional products and try to be all things to all people. They looked around and concluded that the promotional products industry had become too saturated with companies that offered everything under the sun in the way of promotional products. There were few places to go and buy just pens without being distracted with T-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, and the like. They wanted to bring an eCommerce web application to the world that would specialize in just one thing: pens. Promotional pens. They only wanted to handle Bic imprinted pens and wanted to handle them well. - There wasn't any quality web application where a user could go online and visually configure their pen and then buy it. Most sites have the colors that are available for the different pen parts. Some even get fancy and show the actual color swatches. Big deal. How can you tell what you pen is going to look like with all the color combinations if you can't see it? Unless you're willing to be experimental with your money, you probably have just stuck with the same old color combinations that your company has...
