Description

BSA-Architects, Inc. began as Building Services Associates, a sole proprietorship established in 1976 and incorporated in 1984. The first principals were David D. Red, Architect and Professor Emeritus of the University of Houston, and Richard D. Jarvis, a 1977 Architecture graduate from the University of Houston. BSA began its practice providing Architectural Services on small and medium sized residential and commercial projects, mainly renovations and remodeling.

Our approach and philosophy at BSA is to provide services that consistently produce on time and within budget. Where most companies claim it, we deliver it. Understanding the goals and objectives of each Client. Understanding the construction industry. Understanding that "time is money" and, therefore, striving to ensure performance within the agreed-upon time constraints.

Richard D. Jarvis, A.I.A., is a Registered Architect and co-founder of the firm. He graduated with honors from the University of Houston in 1977, with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Texas Society of Architects. Since 1976, Richard has gained experience in commercial and residential architecture, both in new construction and renovation / remodeling projects.
