Bullard Company returns to the ILTA 34th Annual International Operating Conference & Trade Show bringing with us our show stopping, true-to-life ¼ scale tank car. We continue to grow and build upon our vast experience of designing and fabricating safe access equipment by updating our line of mobile equipment to now include transloading platforms. Bullard Company is also proud of our railcar loading rack series specifically designed to meet the needs of an emerging unit-train market. In fact we are so excited about our work in this thrilling field that if your company orders a unit-train loading rack from Bullard Company we will build a ¼ scale tank car of your very own! "I just wanted to let you know about your team sent down to Nederland, Texas. They are top notch. Your team of employee's; Jamie, John, and Bo did a GREAT job for me. They were very professional, hard working, and most important SAFE. We allowed you a ten day window for the job and your employee's completed the job in just four days. This was a hassle free job thanks to your crew. I enjoyed working with them and would do so again anytime.
Another beneficiary of our combined design/engineering skills is our line of fabricated products – access platforms, loading racks and safety bridges. Our products are superbly functional, contractor tough and competitively priced. Our customers frequently comment how good our platforms and equipment look – a tribute to our designs and to our craftsmanship. We are confident that Bullard Company will continue to win over customers with our access equipment line.
- equipment designed primarily for use by liquid bulk terminals and in particular, the petroleum, gas and oil terminals. Their expertise, products and market were complementary to Bullard Company’s experience and skill set. So in February 2007, this small group of talented designers and technicians joined Bullard Company, bringing with them their 22 years of experience solving safety problems for bulk storage terminals. These changes - (1) the addition of shop fabrication capabilities, (2) the addition of a line of fabricated steel products, and (3) access to a national market - are providing new opportunities to generate business through our problem-solving skills.
Our gangway designs provide versatility for many applications that require truck loading and railcar loading. These safety bridges are designed with a working range of 15 degrees above or below the platform surface. With Bullard Company's design expertise we can provide safe access solutions for your operations. Combining many years of experience in providing access equipment to the market and the need for repairable units, our engineering group has incorporated the following design features into each model. Modular Design for ease of parts replacement. Aluminum Safety Bridges have hot dip galvanized base mount with stainless steel tread and axle assembly. Integrated mounting option for either top or flush mounting. Permanently lubed bearings on main axle. Variety of finishes are available: standards safety yellow powder coating on all steel units, hot dip galvanizing, uncoated aluminum, or anodized aluminum. Totally enclosed dual spring balancing for ease of positioning. Spring loaded stainless steel latch for vertical storage. Welded stops to prevent the bridge from lowering below 15 degrees. Optional adjustable chain stops & hydraulic assist.
