Debby Knudson-DiPiero is a native to Havre and has worked with the Havre community for over 24 years. She received her degree in Addiction Studies in 2006. Deb has a background in Law Enforcement and has worked with the Domestic Abuse Task Force. She has been counseling clients with addiction for over 6 years. Deb is a member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. Deb joined the Bullhook team February of 2012 and has worked with the state of Montana to have Bullhook Community Health Center to be a State Approved facility to provide the ACT Program.

Our state of the art dental facility was established in August 2009 with cutting edge technology and outstanding personnel. We provide complete dental and oral healthcare care for our patients and their entire families, including complete exams, X-rays, cleanings, extractions (tooth removal), sealants, fillings, root canals, oral health education, and special care for patients with dental anxiety. Our goal to provide a dental home for every family on the Hi-Line is so important to us that every year we travel to Havre schools, public and private, to provide free oral exams and identify children with urgent and/or emergent dental needs and ensure that every child has access to oral healthcare.

Bullhook Health Center originated in September 2005 as a section of the Hill County Health Department, funded by a federal Healthy Communities Access Planning Grant. This grant allowed the Health Department’s Bullhook Clinic to offer medical and care management services to the community with a sliding fee scale. Patients were able to access coordinated and holistic care with other providers in the community. On July 1, 2007, a federal Community Health Center Grant was awarded to the board of directors for the new organization called the Bullhook Community Health Center, Inc. The Bullhook Health Center originated in September of 2005, as a section of the Hill County Health Department, funded by a Federal Healthy Communities Access Planning (HCAP) Grant. This grant allowed the Health Department’s Bullhook Clinic to offer medical and care management services to the community with a sliding fee scale. In addition, the clinic was able to offer medical, dental, vision, mental health, and travel vouchers and education to Hill County residents. The Bullhook Clinic was founded by an active consortium.

Bullhook partners with Slayback Health in providing telemedicine services to its patient population. Bullhook's patients will now be able to consult with a primary care physician as well as an Endocrinologist right here at the clinic. In addition, patients can also avail the services of a Nutritionist via telemedicine. This partnership will help Bullhook in providing superior care to its patients and to fulfill its mission to provide complete healthcare to its patients. Telemedicine represents a fundamental change in the way healthcare services are delivered and is rapidly gaining ground in the United States. Telemedicine is the exchange of diagnostic medical information and non-procedural clinical services by connecting patients and providers, or providers and providers, through interactive digital communications.

Residents of Hill County will soon have better access to health care as well as increased job creation thanks to New Markets Tax Credit financing. Montana CDC and U.S. Bank have secured $7.3 million in permanent financing to support the new Bullhook Community Health Center. Founded in 2005, Bullhook Community Health Center provides healthcare services to 3,500 people per year. The new 19,000 square foot building will allow for expanded services at one centralized location, providing patients in the community the opportunity to access a variety of health care specialties with more professional and provider services. This project showcases the benefits of collaboration as this project would not have been possible without multiple partners working together to complete the financing structure. Partners include, Montana Community Development Corporation, U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation, the community development subsidiary of U.S. Bank, Bear Paw Development, Great Falls Development Authority, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
