Bullock Mortuary

Description

In 1951, Z.R. "Zeke" Bullock built Bullock Mortuary. Mr. Bullock and his wife owned and operated the funeral home until Gabriel Goldsmith (Bullock's son-in-law) took over the funeral home in the late 1960's. Mr. Goldsmith passed away in 1992 at which time his two sons David and Gus took over ownership of the business, taking it into the third generation. The Bullock and Goldsmith families are very proud of the business that has been established for over 60 years and plan to keep the personal touch of a family owned and operated business for many years to come.

Howard worked as a Software Engineer for over 30 years, and retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked with development teams on large projects. He was highly respected in his profession. After retirement he enjoyed golfing with friends as well as riding, carriage driving and breeding horses. He is pictured with his favorite horse Plie, who he trained to ride and drive. He obtained Plie when she was 10 days old, she is now 20 and lives at the family home in Castle Rock.
