November 15, 2013 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Bulow BioTech Prosthetics announced today that it has changed its name to Bulow Orthotic & Prosthetic Solutions (“Bulow OPS”). The name change reflects the Nashville-based company’s status as a comprehensive provider of orthotic and prosthetic solutions to patients and allied healthcare service providers. Bulow OPS, founded in 2006 by former Paralympic athlete and prosthetist Matt Bulow, C.P., has grown into one of the nation’s leading O&P providers with 10 locations in four U.S. states. In addition, Bulow OPS is pleased to announce the recently completed acquisition of Applied Orthotic Systems, Inc., a leading provider of orthopedic bracing in the Middle Tennessee market for over 25 years.

Mending Limbs Organization was founded in 2008 by Michelle Gilligan-Prichard and her husband Jared. Mending Limbs was created to help raise awareness of the Amputee Coalition of America as well as the advocacy for adequate prosthetic coverage in the state of Tennessee as well as across the nation. A law is needed in the state of Tennessee as well as across the nation so amputees can live full independent lives. Yearly events will be held to raise money to assist amputees in paying for prosthetics not covered by insurance. Mending Limbs Organization is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

With the history and experience gained in working with more than 2,000 amputees, Bulow BioTech Prosthetics offers the highest quality in prosthetic patient care. Bulow BioTech is acknowledged by the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association. Our locations and clinicians are all accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC).

This group’s mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. It strives to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in this nation’s history. Its purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
