Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, providing comprehensive services from conceptual design through project completion in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Planning, and Environmental Science. We are proud of our record of excellence and of our long history of service throughout the Gulf South. Since our inception in 1910, we have provided professional consulting to over 200 public and private clients. BKI's planners have many years of experience in comprehensive plan preparation and project management. We use GIS mapping to develop map-based products suitable for use in technical reviews, with public information campaigns or project websites. BKI also has extensive experience organizing and conducting public and advisory committee meetings.

Lincoln Beach, located on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, served as an amusement park for African-American citizens during the period of segregation, 1955-1964.
