I have been involved in construction projects for over 25 years in my commercial real estate business. Thus, I have a sense of good construction management and good buying skills. Pat Burke provided both. I am writing this letter of recommendation as a very satisfied customer of Burke Builders. This past January and February, Burke Builders completed a $100,000 renovation on my oceanfront home on Hilton Head Island, SC. It was a difficult project as the home is 35 years old, and no blueprints of the original building existed. Thus, there was a lot of discovery in the process.

Patrick has developed many long standing relationships with site development and trade contractors who share his passion for providing great service while delivering the highest quality and value available in the multifamily marketplace.

These builders are the epitome of not being ‘all show,’ but truly believing in what they are doing for their customers. They have 40 years of experience in home building. I saw old homes they had remodeled which looked as good as brand new. I saw how they strived to help people to achieve ownership in any way possible, using both conventional finance and with federal home loan grants. They also have a way of blending affordable housing with upscale homes.

A graduate of Canisius College, where he received his B.S., Mr. Burke joined the family business in 1981 where he oversees the management of 900 residential apartments and 160,000 square feet of commercial space. In 1986, with his brother David, Mr. Burke formed Burke Brothers Construction, Inc., a home builder and developer. Burke Brothers Construction, Inc. has developed over 1,000 lots and homes, town homes, apartment complexes, two child care facilities and two U.S Postal facilities.

Currently employed as General Manager for the family owned Burke Developer, LLC, Mr. Burke has direct responsibilities for site supervision, estimating and production of the project based building/development company. The company has developed many projects including; the 108 Unit Michaels Landing, Charlotte N.C., the 15 unit Mulberry Town Homes, Cornelius N.C., the 56 unit Emerald Green Condominiums, Mooresville, N.C. and 48 Units “Villages of S. Main Street” in Davidson, N.C..
