Description
The Burlington Historical Society was organized in 1928 and was the first Historical Society in Racine County. 2003 marks the Society's 75th anniversary. The chairman of the organization meeting was Otis Hulett, a native of Union Grove and long-time resident of Burlington, who, at that time, was Burlington correspondent for the Racine Journal-News (later the Racine Journal and now the Journal Times).
