Dear Editor, My experience in a community where we live and work near pipelines has been positive, and I have seen the economic benefits that can come from this type of development, especially in rural areas. Enbridge is currently working to increase capacity on the Line 67 pipeline, which operates in Minnesota. The impacts of this capacity increase are relatively small in comparison to the construction of a brand new pipeline (like we experienced in 2009-2010), but it too stands to make a positive impact on growth and opportunity in our community.

Involta, LLC, a managed IT, cloud computing and data center services company, announced today it has secured $50 million of equity financing. The investment was led by M/C Partners of Boston and included Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners. This new round of financing will enable strategic acquisitions, provide some shareholder liquidity, and support Involta's rapid growth providing colocation and managed services throughout the country.
