Description

Our mission is to provide and support economical solutions for older aircraft, often referred to as "Classic" aircraft. As a result of more than 35 years of customer service in the aircraft switching unit business, we recognize the need to support many aircraft in the last half of their expected life.

Founded in 1969, Butler National Corporation achieved success in the international marketplace by diversifying its products and being responsive to customers needs. The Company makes aviation safety products and modifies aircraft. Butler began exporting in 1980. Its export sales, which have soared 600 percent in the past year, now account for over 80 percent of its total revenues. The company recently started selling to China, Yemen, and Pakistan, and now markets in 20 countries throughout the world.

Butler National Corporation was established in 1968 through the merger of an aviation research firm owned by the Butler family and National Connector Corporation. Butler National combined resources of these two companies to develop one of the first commercial Area Navigation System (RNAV) used for airplane navigation.

Butler National consolidated its Arkansas and Kansas City design and manufacturing facilities in Phoenix, Arizona in 1996. The products supported include our Plectron (outdoor civil defense and public warning systems), ADAS (auto dialing alarm systems), and all Butler National commercial and military aviation products. This facility retains our commitment to quality production practices consistent with our aerospace heritage.

Our Management Services segment is engaged in the business of providing management services to Indian tribes in connection with the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988. We have three management agreements in place; however the performance of these agreements is contingent upon and subject to approval by the Secretary of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Indian Gaming Commission and the appropriate State, if required.
