CM Construction is a full service construction and repair company. It began in 2000 when Charles Marratt consolidated a consistent group of skilled and talented craftsmen into a cohesive work-force to repair, maintain and construct buildings. Combined they bring decades of valuable experience in repair, restoration, remodeling and construction. CM takes care to employ skilled and experienced craftsmen who provide top-notch workmanship and thorough attention to detail, knowledge and talent.

We specialize in historic building preservation and restoration. We have participated in the restoration of over seventy-eight National Historic Register properties. We understand and believe in the value of preserving the beauty of the past and can walk you through the process and take care of every aspect of restoration. We are proud to provide the best in personal customer service while we will help you rehabilitate your home or building. CM Construction has worked on preservation projects across the state and we are familiar with the guidelines of individual Historic Districts, and have worked with Historic District Commissions on behalf of our clients. We strive to identify, retain and preserve the beauty of every historic building that we work on. We use The Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings as our guide. We protect and maintain, repair and replace as necessary in order to preserve the defining historic characteristics of a building. If a building is eligible, we can point you in the right direction to facilitate historical certification.

We are focused on personal service and are dedicated to exceeding our client’s expectations and can help you obtain permits and/or approvals necessary to complete your project. CM Construction has always been a nuts and bolts repair and construction company. We have a full staff of experienced workmen at our disposal to meet your repair needs. We employ other specialized tradesmen as projects require and depending on the complexity of the job. We also have licensed plumbers and electricians available to serve our customers’ needs.
