Founded in 1936, the Natural Products Association (NPA) is the nation’s largest and oldest non-profit organization dedicated to the natural products industry, serving as the industry’s watchdog on regulatory and legislative issues. The NPA recently developed a certification standard and graphic seal for skin care products to assure customers that approved products are truly natural and truly safe. An overview of the standards are: Product should be made up of only truly natural ingredients and be manufactured in such a way to maintain its purity.
