Description

While working as an Associate Professor in West Virginia, Dr. Catherine Chandler formed CCV Software, Inc. in 1982 to teach computer classes and run computer camps for children. Her work with teachers, as they began to use technology in the classroom, focused her attention on the need for a well-organized computer software resource for educators. The company expanded in 1984 with the development of a mail order catalog of educational software.In 1985 Dr. Chandler and her sister, Cheryl Narum, opened a retail operation in their hometown of Fargo, ND. CCV Software now has offices in FL, ND, NJ and WV and the "Software Sisters" send educational software catalogs to every K-12 school, college and university in the United States.CCV Software provides many services to educational institutions to make acquiring product knowledge and information easier.
