Algoma: Initially starting as a wood furniture manufacturer, Algoma has grown into one of the larges manufacturers of commercial wood doors. In 1947 they produced their first wood faced mineral core fire door. This new type of door allowed buildings to keep the traditional look of a wood door, while giving the fire stopping benefits of hollow metal doors.

These commercial wood doors meet the Window and Door Manufacturers' (WDMA) Extra Heavy Duty level and offer a manufacturers "Limited Lifetime" warranty. The wood door is ideal for commercial environments where budgets might dictate less-expensive options, such as a small office buildings, churches, medical clinics, or even hotels.

Curries: Curries was founded in 1958 in Mason City Iowa by Cory Currie as a local hardware store. After running into supply problems from their existing vendors, Curries decided to try their hand in the hollow metal door business. Today the business is now a large division of it’s parent company Assa Abloy.
