New from CDI Meters: Product Upgrades and New Products 5000 Series Flowmeters, Rev. 2.0 Our 5000-Series flowmeters (5200 and 5400) are unchanged, but they have some significant improvements. Calibrated ranges have been extended in the smallest and largest sizes, and milliamp scale ranges have been extended in those sizes as well. The terminal block on the main circuit board has been extended to facilitate wiring and the microcontroller is longer removable. The weather-resistant option will be discontinued when the 6000 Series is introduced (see below). 6000 Series Flowmeters – Coming soon Many industrial applications require instrumentation that is sealed against the elements, electrically hardened, and adapted to industrial wiring practices. Our 6000-Series flowmeters will be made for such applications, built in a weatherproof enclosure, and suitable for use in outdoor applications and in large industrial plants with long cable runs and distributed dc power. We plan to introduce the 6000-Series meters during the Fall. A limited number of pre-production samples will be available before that time for evaluation by our regular customers. Pricing Adjustments Increasing costs are requiring us to raise our prices on meters. This will be our first price increase in almost four years. Effective July 1st, prices on our smaller meters will increase by $50, while those on our larger meters, three-inch and up, will increase by $100. At this time there will not be a price increase in any of the other products, modifications or services. Pricing of the 6000 Series has not yet been determined. Improved Monitoring Software CDI's MeterGrapher software has undergone major changes and the new version is available now! - -
