C. E. Anderson & Associates was established in 1995, as a full-service structural engineering consulting firm benefiting the architectural community. Since that time, we have grown to our current staff size of nineteen engineering professionals, plus support staff. Our four senior personnel have well over 100 years of combined engineering experience on a wide variety of building types. Our unique education and experience in both architecture and structural engineering provides us with an appreciation of the unique needs of all disciplines involved in the building design process, resulting in innovative and cost effective solutions to complex problems. Our clients appreciate our ability to be sympathetic to both aesthetic requirements and program functions in designing structures. In addition to the two licensed architects in the office, almost all of the engineers have a strong background in architecture. Eleven of the personnel have Master of Architecture degrees, in addition to their engineering education. Because of this background, we are able to offer suggestions for architectural detail development as well as simplification. Our dual education enables us to conceive and develop the most appropriate solution for the architectural challenges we encounter.
