Description

When a parent or teacher has academic or behavioral concerns about a student, a request for consultation is made to the school Student Assistance Team. Members of the team may vary based upon presenting concerns; however the parents are a critical component to this process. One of the team’s primary functions is to develop interventions and supports to address the targeted areas of concern. If a disability is suspected, parents are involved in the subsequent planning of the assessment and determination of eligibility (as defined by state and federal law).

Welcome to Boulevard Elementary School and to the 2013-2014 school year. This will be my first year as principal of Boulevard Elementary School and I am excited to get started. I have 20 years experience in education with 14 years as an administrator for the Perry Local Schools. I believe in creating an educational environment where all students are successful and have I have begun working with the staff to establish and refine expectations in order for this to occur.

The staff at Fairfax is dedicated to creating a safe and productive learning environment. This process begins with a blending of creativity, innovation, and rigor to produce high academic expectations while providing experiences that will continue to foster a love for learning. Although Fairfax will have some changes this year, we will continue to strive for academic excellence.
