C.J. Boots Casket Company was founded in 1999 by Christopher J. Boots out of a small shop in Lapel, IN. A custom furniture and cabinet maker by trade, Chris started building hardwood caskets. After tremendous growth in the first year in business, Chris found it necessary to relocate its operations to a larger facility in Anderson, IN. The company continued to experience growth and in November of 2009 relocated its operations to the current location north of downtown Anderson. C.J.
