CMB Financial Corp. was established by Bob Jarmak in 1992, and has continuously been providing products and services to community financial institutions, including banks, mutuals and credit unions.

We provide simple solutions to complex, required valuation projects, saving the client time and money.

We've been involved with the MBS, UST and derivatives markets for over 20 years, and have developed some pretty strong opinions on this topic. The key point in constructing a hedge position is to find an instrument that will move in a way opposite to the instrument you want to hedge. Sounds pretty simple, but for mortgage servicing, it's anything but! Primarily because prepayment characteristics tend to be both regionally influenced and the value of MBS relative to US Treasuries is not constant. At first people tried the PO or super PO purchase to offset the prepayment risk.

We take the issue of security very seriously. We also recognize the tradeoff between providing perfect security and application development size and time. The data transmitted is public information and we cannot find any risk to the data being intercepted via email. Similarly, the data on the website would provide information of no value to anyone else. That said, we provide multiple on and offsite backups to the data on regular (automated) schedules which would allow us to reconstruct any missing data. We also use various encryption methods to protect client data.
