Mr. Thompson has over 15 years of experience in patent law as a patent coordinator and inventor, 14 years experience as an engineer, and 7 years experience as a practitioner. He currently divides his time as a Patent Practitioner with the law firm of Cochran Freund & Young, LLC, and as Director of Intellectual Property for Ice Energy, Inc., a thermal energy storage company.

Mr. Whitham has 12 years of experience in software engineering related fields. He started his career as an engineer with Setpoint, Inc. designing and implementing advanced process control and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software as a consultant for oil refineries and chemical plants. After three years with Setpoint, Mr. Whitham took a job as one of the original three members of Encorp, Inc. Initially he worked on the Graphical User Interface and remote communications software to interface with a proprietary Encorp generator controller and other third party hardware.

Christie has over eight years experience in the field of IP law. She began her career as the Office Manager in March of 2001, with the Law Offices of William W. Cochran and was promoted to the position of Trademark Paralegal while maintaining her position as Office Manager. Christie resumed her position in October 2006 as Trademark Paralegal, after having taken off a year and seven months for maternity leave.
